Fannin EC High School Scholarships

Fannin EC is proud to support high school seniors who are pursuing higher education, reflecting our continued commitment to investing in the future of the communities we serve.

When individuals establish electric service with Fannin EC, they become members of the cooperative. When revenues exceed the amount necessary to operate the cooperative, the surplus is allocated to members in the form of capital credits. In instances where capital credit checks remain unclaimed, the State of Texas permits a portion of those funds to be used for scholarship purposes. Through this program, Fannin EC is able to support the educational advancement of local students while strengthening the communities it serves.

Fannin EC is honored to assist qualified students as they continue their education beyond high school. Recognizing that the cost of college, university, or trade school can present financial challenges, the cooperative is committed to helping students take the next step toward achieving their academic and career goals. Applicants are encouraged to review the scholarship criteria and contact Fannin EC or their school counselor with any questions.
