Fannin EC To Begin Director Election Process

The nominating committee of Fannin Electric Cooperative will meet at 6 p.m. on July 22 at the co-op’s headquarters at 2201 FM 87 in Bonham to select nominees for the following Fannin EC districts in which directors’ terms are expiring:

• District 3: Rodney Brent
• District 5: Steve Collida
• District 7: Alfred Scott

The terms of the elected directors will be for 3 years. Directors will be elected at the annual meeting at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 27. The annual meeting will be held in the Fannin County Multipurpose Complex building off Highway 56, west of Bonham, across from Voluntary Purchasing Groups.
